In collaboration with the area of Nephrology and the systems team of General Universitary Hospital of Valencia  since Visual Limes we have worked on the & nbsp; bidirectional integration de our Nefrosoft system, with the dialysis monitors of the nephrology unit of the hospital.

For this the integration with the dialysis machines consists mainly of the possibility of sending from Nefrosoft the parameters of the session of a specific patient, to the machine that is going to be used for the realization of its renal replacement treatment to said patient.

For safety reasons and to correctly identify of the patient and the corresponding dialysis machine, a system of identification cards is available without it Nefrosoft system will not send the information of the patient’s treatmeent in order to avoid possible errors about the correct patient’s data.

In this way, patient safety is improved, since it is not necessary to manually transcribe the patient treatment data to each of the monitors, but once the identification card of each patient is inserted in each monitor, Nefrosoft charges in this machine the parameters of the session, leaving only the step of reviewing and validating the start-up of the machine for the start of treatment, by the nursing team.

In the video presented below you can see in a schematic way how to work in a dialysis unit through the bidirectional integration mentioned and that we have implanted in the Hospital.

In collaboration with the area of Nephrology and the systems team of the Hospital of Mollet from Visual Limes, we will work during 2019 on the integration of our Nefrosoft system, with the SAP ERP in use at the Hospital.

The SAP system in use at the Hospital de Mollet has modules such as SAP EMR and SAP Health for Patient Engagement, which allows health professionals to carry information on the care of their patients in real time directly or with handheld devices, eliminating delays and inaccuracies that can harm the provision of care, so now Nefrosoft® also sends information to SAP about patient treatments and consumptions of dialyzers and other associated fungibles.

In this way, SAP can directly receive information on drug consumptions, dialyzers and other consumables associated with patient treatments and other relevant information that Nefrosoft manages and that they may need to consult with physicians to make decisions.

Nefrosoft® can also be integrated in general with other systems, in order to share other data with the HIS of the hospital, the laboratory results, the active directory of users, the dialysis monitors with the data of the session, etc …

In this case, Nefrosoft also allows you to collect the details of the patient’s hemodialysis session, so that nurse team and medicine can record everything that happened during the treatment. Nurse team can use Nefrosoft from a tablet, in order to record and follow the treatment in real time and send the data to the SAP EMR for its registration in the patient’s medical history.

During the year 2018 in Visual Limes we have worked together with systems of the Galician Health Service in the integration of our nephrology information system Nefrosoft® with the digital signature system and access to the electronic medical record portal.

The IANUS electronic signature system allows users of the medicine and nursing areas of different hospitals to securely access the different systems in use at SERGAS, among which Nefrosoft® can now also be accessed.

In this way, the doctor can identify the patient in the system from the health card and thus be able to record the follow-up of their treatments and their clinical history.

Nefrosoft® can also be integrated with other systems, in order to share data with the HIS of the hospital, laboratory results, active user directory, dialysis monitors with session data, etc …

Last November, Visual Limes launched the Farhos Gestión Integral information system for Hospital Pharmacy at the CASMU Hospitals in Montevideo.

The Assistance Center of the Medical Union of Uruguay, better known as CASMU, is a Uruguayan company that provides health services to its members through mutualism. It is one of the largest mutuals in Uruguay although its social mass is concentrated in the country’s capital. It has 3 sanatoriums in Montevideo, the Casmu 1 Dr. Carlos María Fosalba, the Casmu 2 Dr. Constancio Castells and the Casmu 3 Dr. Pablo Carlevaro located in different areas of the city.

Farhos ERP allows to manage from the purchases and supplies of drugs and other consumables necessary for the treatment of patients in CASMU hospitals in Montevideo, to the entire management of medication deliveries to the different hospitals and the management of consumptions and general expenses of the Pharmacies of the different hospitals.

Farhos Management ERP allows you to enter the details of the medication of the active principle, laboratory markets the product, price and discounts, maximum doses, etc., as shown in the following image.

Farhos can also be integrated with other systems, in order to share data with the HIS of the hospital, laboratory results, the active directory of users and other databases of medicines, alerts, interactions, etc …
