HISTORY
Visual Limes was founded in 1993 thanks to the vision of its founders to provide their expertise in the development of information management systems applied to the health sector. They observed the great need for the use of these technologies in this sector by health professionals to improve the quality of the patients’ care to have more information in real time.
In the same year 1993 was born the first version of Nefrosoft ®, a departmental software for management of the information of patients with kidney disease for the use in hospitals’ nephrology services and dialysis clinics. Nefrosoft® was created by the Visual Limes team in cooperation with a team of nephrologists and nephrology nurse experts. The S.E.N. (Spanish Society of Nephrology) declared Nefrosoft® as software of scientific interest in 1997.
Only 4 years after the first release of Nefrosoft®, in Visual Limes we launched our software for the management of hospital pharmacies Farhos®, this development took place with the participation of Hospital Pharmacists experts making Farhos® a national benchmark having full coverage of the hospital pharmacy service requirements and is robust and reliable.
In these years of experience in Visual Limes we have developed other applications focused on the integration of Nefrosoft® and Farhos® with other information systems, we have participated in the creation of web registry of quality indicators with the Spanish Society of Nephrology, we developed a software to manage the information required by specialists of Hematology (HemaCons) and we have participated in HL7 Spain for the definition communication protocols between information systems along with other experts from around the country.
Based in Xirivella (Valencia), has a team with proven experience in the health sector, allowing us to address technological projects in this field of health and in close collaboration with the health professionals who actually will use the software, providing the knowledge gained from many years working in this sector.
Our software development in the field of hospital pharmacy and nephrology are running successfully in many hospitals and clinics what make us a leader among service companies for the health sector.
We have developed health information systems, which have become standards due to its ease of use and the contribution of knowledge by health professionals. We also have experience in the interconnection of systems to integrate information from different systems in use in clinics and hospitals to manage all the information of patients.
OUR INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
TEAM
In Visual Limes we have a team of engineers experts in information technology, software development and integration with other computer systems. Our engineers are trained in the language of the health sector and are well aware of the concepts, practices and customs used in the health field.
Experts in systems integration, telecommunications and members of HL7 Spain. In HL7 we have participated in several guidelines for implementing of electronic recipe and assisted electronic prescription standards and are currently being used for implementation in various regions.
The key of this success of the Visual Limes team lies in the close collaboration and the enormous contribution of health professionals in our software development, resulting into a products of a natural and intuitive use for medical, hospital pharmacy and nurse professionals.

VISUAL LIMES, S.L. is committed to meeting the requirements specified by customers, legal and regulatory requirements, and to continuously improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
Likewise, this document establishes the following general objectives:
- Increase customer satisfaction (needs and expectations) through the effective application of the Quality Management System and by reducing customer complaints and claims.
- Attract new customers, with special attention to maintaining current customers.
- Increase client proposal approvals and organization sales.
- Improve the overall profitability of projects executed by the organization (both maintenance and new projects).
To achieve this, the organization must strive to:
- Improve coordination between the areas of the company (internal communication).
- Improve the training and awareness of the staff.
- Ensure the level of quality offered and the reliability of the services provided.
All this with the ultimate goal of improving customer service, consolidating the organization’s position and guaranteeing improved profitability.
The managers of the different areas of the organization recognize the authority that the Quality Manager holds in matters of Quality, by express delegation of the Management. Likewise, they undertake to disseminate among the staff of their department the guidelines and objectives that the Management of the organization formulates in matters of quality.
Visual Limes’ suppliers are also a key part of this Policy. As required by the standard in points 8.4.1 and 8.4.3, a periodic evaluation of them will be carried out, and the criteria for this evaluation will be communicated to them, which are the following:
- Quality criteria (both product and service: attention, response time) and price.
- Supply chain risk analysis
- Quality and safety certifications, taking into account other possible ones.
In summary, VISUAL LIMES, S.L. aims to be a leading organization in quality and service, carrying out simple business management, with minimal bureaucracy and with the integration and responsibility of the staff, promoting, above all, human relations.
